What does it take to be a Model Citizen? In a country where fascism and White terror have become explicit law, that's the question Omi needs to answer if she ever wants to leave.

The year is 2236, and the country has brought the vision of the late President Michael Frieden into reality. The Correctional Community Corporation blossomed from its humble beginnings in Detroit into some 6,000 facilities across the nation. Each has been filled to capacity with America’s people of color, disabled, impoverished, and any other eyesore the ivories on the outside prefer to keep contained.
